How do I RSVP?+
Tap any monthly flyer on the Editions page to register free on Eventbrite. You'll get a QR code by email. Show it at the door when you arrive.
When and where?+
One Saturday a month, 2:00 to 4:30 PM, at Alali Studio, 32 Musa Yar'Adua Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Where is Silent Book Club VI held?+
At Alali Studio, 32 Musa Yar'Adua Street, Victoria Island, Lagos. We're an official chapter of the global Silent Book Club, meeting monthly on Saturdays.
Do I need to bring a book?+
Yes, anything you're currently reading. Physical, e-reader, magazine, comic, all good.
Is it really free?+
Yes. Alali Studio hosts us; you're welcome (but not required) to order something from the menu.
I'm coming alone, is that weird?+
Not at all. Most people do. We read in silence for the bulk of the session, with light icebreakers at the end for anyone who wants to stay back and meet new faces.
How do I hear about future sessions?+
We've already posted dates for every month this year. Check the flyers on the Editions page and grab the one that works for you. Follow @silentbookclubvi on Instagram for reminders. We host once a month for now, but we're open to additional sessions on request.
